Jerome "Kid" Coffee

If you're looking for a coach that can take you to the next level, it's our resident Pro, Jerome Coffee. His amateur career consists of 205 fights with 193 wins and the following accolades; 1977 National AAU Flyweight Champion, 1978, 1979 National PAL Flyweight Champion, 1979 Pan American Games Bronze medalist, 1979 National Golden Gloves Flyweight Champion. Ranked #3 Flyweight amateur boxer in the world by the AIBA. 

 

Coffee turned professional in 1980, 49 total fights, 35 wins, 19 by knockout, won his first 26 bouts in a row and fought for the IBF Bantamweight World title. Coffee retired in 1994. 

 

In recent years Jerome Coffee has coached amateur boxers to multiple National tournament wins and titles. You can find him coaching the beginners class on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 4:30pm and from 12pm - 1pm on Saturdays.
